We are South Florida’s only authentic open pit barbeque that is commonly referred to as “The Pig”. We like to think of ourselves as a family restaurant that specializes in a chopped pork sandwich. Our barbecue sauce is best described as a thin North Georgia style sauce that does not overwhelm the flavor of the meat but rather compliments it. We have only one sauce and it is made fresh at our location. Along with making our own barbecue sauce we make our Cole Slaw, Macaroni Salad and Potato Salad in house. Each day we offer a homemade soup, and entree, with many being described as “just as mom made it”. We also specialize in homemade Chocolate Cream Pie, Coconut Cream Pie and Pecan Pie. The best way to experience the Georgia Pig is to come in and see for yourself. We know how to made you feel at home and are ready to prove it to you.
How We Do BBQ
Each morning our Pit Master builds a new fire with only Live Oak wood. Once our fire is going he freshly butchers our meat to be cooked for the day. We are open pit BBQ, using only the direct heat from our fire to cook and flavor the meat.We do not use rubs or marinades. Truly the wood is what flavors our product and does most of the work.
